Hello friends and neighbors! I’m Sara Klein Nickolauson, the creator behind Lancaster Lane Treats (Cottage Food Producer Registration #20274081) of Maple Grove, MN. For the past 10 years, I’ve called this wonderful place home, balancing my full-time job as an accountant by day with my passion for baking by night.
I’m married to my amazingly supportive husband, Eric, and have a son and three bonus kids.
In 2021 baking became more than just a creative outlet for me—it became a way for my husband and I to connect after making the life-changing leap into sober living. Spending time together, experimenting with different flavors, and coming up with fun new ways to decorate cookies has been a rewarding journey for the whole family. In the spring of 2025, my husband and I decided to launch Lancaster Lane Treats just in time for the Easter season. Why Easter, you ask? As Christians, we view Easter as the beginning of the liturgical year, so it felt like a meaningful time for me to start something new and exciting.
My mission is simple: to provide customers with made-from-scratch, fresh baked goods that taste just like they were made in your own kitchen. Oven to party- but without all the mess and stress. I believe in using quality ingredients and avoiding the unnecessary preservatives and artificial additives found in store-bought treats. I want you to have all of the fun, togetherness, and memory-making without all the questionable ingredients or excessive time commitment. Whether you’re celebrating a birthday, a special event, or just treating yourself, I am here to help make it a little sweeter.
Thank you for visiting our site, and I can’t wait to make something special for you!
